The Open Welsh 2024 – Tournament Report

On Saturday 22^nd June a team of 9 De Silva Taekwon-Do students embarked on Cardiff to take part in the Welsh Open. The team, led by Master De Silva, competed across a plethora of categories, with the junior competitors competing in special technique, and senior competitors in overall weight classes for sparring.

This was a fantastic event, with the categories been heavily contested and competitive. All our students competed and represented the club to the highest standard.

Out of the 9 competitors, we were awarded 11 individual medals and 1 best overall competitor.
