On the weekend of 5th and 6th October, AETA are hosting their Open English Championships Please see below some key information to consider:
Tournament Information:

Date: Saturday 5th October 2024 and Sunday 6th October 2024
5th October - for all competitors 14 years and younger
6th October - for all competitors 15 years and older -
Venue and Address: The Dolphin Leisure Centre, Pasture Hill Road,

Entry Fee:
£45 (colour belt competitors)
£55 (black belt competitors) - Deadline to Register: Wednesday 11th September at 17:00
This competition is open to all yellow belts (8th Kups) and above.
Black Belt competitors will be entered into a league, similar to The Warrior Open, resulting in multiple bouts.
Car Parking
The organisers have informed us there is limited parking at the venue.
They have advised on the following car parks on the weekend of the tournament:
- Multi-Storey Car Park at the Haywards Heath Station - around 5-7 minute walk from the venue
- Town Centre Car Park
- Care Park - Haywards Heath Car Park, Harlands Rd, Haywards Heath RH16
1PG - NCP Harlands Road Car Park, Harlands Rd, Haywards Heath RH16 1LS

Equipment
All De Silva students must wear the academy's tracksuit* (top & bottoms) upon arrival, and change into their White ITF Approved Taekwon-Do uniforms before competing.
*If you don’t have a tracksuit please contact the office to check if we have any available.
All students must have their own complete set of Sparring equipment prior to registration.
Equipment list:
- Headguard
- Semi-contact gloves
- Semi-contact boots
- Mouth guard
- Shin pads
- Groin guard (males)
Additional Information:
- It is never a guarantee that the organisers will provide food or refreshments to buy on site, therefore we recommend bringing your own sandwiches, snacks and water.
- We advise against bringing any food with any kind of sauce as it may leak and possibly stain your uniform.
