Summer Assessment and Grading Report

On the 8^{th of} July, we embarked on a monumental grading for 2023. Alongside our Summer grading for all our Lil’ Warriors, White belts, and Colour Belts assessments and gradings, we ran our largest Black Belt grading to date.

We welcomed 80 students to grade for their next belts, and all students displayed fantastic knowledge, skills and resilience while performing for the grading panels.

After all the Lil’ Warrior and colour belts, we commenced our Black Belt grading. This was a three hour assessment, which required students to perform technical moves, patterns, self-defence sequences, sparring and breaking. 15 students, grading for their 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd degree black belts respectively, tackled this grading head on and performed above and beyond the high standards they set in their pre-gradings.

This was a significant grading for the association as was the biggest black belt grading our history.

We are pleased to announce we have 15 new degree grades joining our black belt ranks!
