The Warrior Open 2023 – Competitor Registration

Team Warrior have been invited to the 2023 Open Dutch on Saturday 28 January 2023, held at the Fletcher Wellness Hotel in Helmond, Netherlands.
The Open Dutch falls under the umbrella of the Master Series and ITF-Netherlands. Competition is open to all De Silva Taekwon-Do Black Belts students, aged 14 Years and above.

- Venue open: 07:15
- Height check/weigh-in: Saturday between 07:15 and 8:45 or Friday between 16:00 and 22:00
- Umpire meeting: 08:15
- Coach meeting: 08:45
- Start of competition: 09:15
- Entry Fee: £40
The competition includes Pattern & Sparring divisions and will be separated by Grade and Weight (KG).
Categories for pattern & sparring
Patterns: 1st Dan, 2nd Dan, 3rd Dan, 4th Dan till 6th Dan
Sparring Senior Female: -50, -56, -62, -68, -75 kg, +75 kg
Sparring Senior Male: -57, -63, -70, -78, -85 kg, +85 kg
The registration deadline for entries will be 5pm on Thursday 12 January 2023.
TRAVEL
Nearest Airport: Eindhoven Airport
All students must be available to fly on Friday 27th January and return on Sunday 29th January.
Transfers: The venue is around 30 mins by car from the venue or 1hr by public transport – these would need to be organised individually.

Equipment
All De Silva students must wear the academy's tracksuit* (top & bottoms) upon arrival, and change into their White De Silva Taekwon-Do uniforms before competing.*If you don’t have a tracksuit please contact the office to check if we have any available.
All students must have their own complete set of Sparring equipment prior to registration.
IMPORTANT - No sparring equipment will be available to hire on the day, please bring your own.
