World Championship Warriors!

Four members of De Silva Taekwon-Do will be participating at the ITF World Taekwon-Do Championships in Inzell, Germany form the 24-28 April, 2019. Three of our Black Belt students have been selected to represent the ITF England, National Taekwon-Do Team, and Mr de Silva will be there in his capacity as Coach of the Welsh National Taekwon-Do Team. Shane O’Rourke will be competing in the Male Individual -85kg sparring event, and Team Sparring Event. Miss Jaymie Phow will be in competing in the Individual Female Power Test event, and has also been selected for the Team Patterns and Team Power Test too. It is a particular special event for the youngest member of the trio, Archie Morrell who has been selected to Captain the Junior Male Team. Archie will be competing in Junior Male Individual -68kg Sparring, Junior Male 1st Degree Patterns and the Team Sparring event. Mr de Silva will be there too as coach of the Wales National Taekwon-Do Team, alongside ITF legend and former World and European Champion, Mr Neil Ernest. We would like to wish all the competitors, coaches, officials and supporter form around the World safe travels, and all the best for the Championships.
