On Sunday 17 October, Sabum Calvin Thomas entered the ITF Union British Championships 2021 and was coached by Master Johann de Silva. It was one of the first times in the past two years that many competitors from around the country had the opportunity to meet under one roof and share the mats for a competition. It was also Sabum Thomas’ first time competing in Taekwon-Do in 4 years. Mr Thomas won Gold in under 75KG sparring. For us the result is always secondary to the spirit of competition and to testing our skills.
