De Silva Taekwon-Do: Interclub Championships 2022

On 14th July, Master De Silva and a group of our senior instructors and black belts, travelled up to Newcastle for the 157th International Instructors Course hosted by ITF England. Led by Grand Master Marano, Grand Master Lan, and Grand Master Laquerre, they took the 240 participants through all 24 patterns, self-defence, and step-sparring. In addition to this, there was a session led by Grand Master Nardizzi, which covered the TKD kid’s course.
The 3-day event provided priceless information and teaching points for our team, which will be implemented and shared with all our students at our Ealing and Wembley academies.
In addition, we would like to extend our congratulations to the newly promoted Master Stephan Tapilatu – An honorary member of Team Warrior and co-founder of the Dragon Warrior Tour with Master De Silva – who completed his degree grading during the trip. Congratulations Sahuyn!
